These noodles are used to make the Korean dish "Naengmyeon" (냉면), and specifically Pyeongyang Mul Naengmyeon, which is a cold noodle soup with thin, chewy noodles made from buckwheat and potato or sweet potato starch in the original style from the Pyeongyang province.
In Korea these cold noodles are extremely popular in the summer and there are many restaurants in Korea specializing in this noodle dish.

The bag contains noodles and a broth soup base sufficient for 2 servings.
Preparation (1 serving):
- Add the soup base to 100ml of warm water and dissolve completely. Then add 200ml of cold water and let the soup base cool.
- Add the noodles to 800ml of boiling water and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Rinse the cooked noodles thoroughly in a sieve under cold running water and drain.
- Place the noodles in a bowl and add the cold soup base and mustard oil. Mix and enjoy.
Tip: Adjust the amount of mustard oil to taste.
Tip: Serve Naengmyeon with a boiled egg, sliced Korean pear and sliced cucumber, as desired.
