Evergreat Risvermicelli comes from the Chinese region Guangdong. They are a gluten-free and versatile very thin rice noodle which you can prepare in many different ways from stir-fry, soups, spring rolls and salads.
Preparation:
Fried rice noodles: Soak the rice noodles in boiling water for 5-6 minutes. Then rinse the rice noodles in cold water and let them dry. Then stir-fry them with meat, shrimp, crab and spices.
Cooking with broth: Soak the rice noodles in boiling water for 4-5 minutes. Then rinse the rice noodles in cold water and let them dry. Then cook them in broth from chicken (duck, pork, shrimp or crab) for about 1-2 minutes.
Fresh rice noodles: Cook the rice noodles in a pot of boiling water for 7-8 minutes. Stir gently while they cook. Remove the rice noodles from the pot and pour them into a colander, and let them drain for about 10 minutes. Enjoy them in spring rolls, hot pot or with broth.
