Udon noodles are a unique and distinctive type of noodle known from Japanese cuisine and can be used in both cold and hot dishes. Try popular udon dishes such as tanuki, tempura and yaki udon. They are also perfect for stir-fried dishes with chicken, shrimp, and fresh vegetables together with hoisin sauce. A truly tasty and quick meal when you need it fast.
Preparation
Place the fresh noodles in salted boiling water for 3 minutes. Then rinse in cold water and let the water drain completely before use. The texture should be soft in the middle with a firm bite.
For stir-frying:
1. Put 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a frying pan or wok, add 200 g udon noodles and fry for 1 minute.
2. Add your favorite meat, vegetables and sauces. Cover and cook on high heat to taste, stirring occasionally. Serve.
For soup:
1. Put noodles and soup broth in 1 ½ cups of water, bring to a boil.
2. Cook for 3 minutes, and add cooked meat and vegetables to taste. Serve.
