Tom kha kai is another popular hot and sour Thai soup and, unlike tom yum, tastes of galangal and contains coconut milk.
Preparation
For 2 people: Put chicken pieces and sliced mushrooms into 400 ml boiling water and add 2 tbsp Tom kha paste. Let simmer for 10 minutes. Season with fish sauce, lime juice and sugar. Optionally add fresh lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves.
