A world-famous Japanese mayonnaise and a staple of Japanese cuisine. Japanese mayo, unlike Western mayo, is made using only egg yolks and uses apple or rice vinegar instead of distilled vinegar. It therefore has a slightly sharper and sweeter taste.
Usage
Used bl.a. on okonomiyaki, in chili mayo, as a dip for karaage, and in maki rolls. For chili mayo, mix with either sriracha chili sauce or shichimi pepper mix.
