Preparation:
For best results cook from frozen. All appliances vary, these are only guidelines. Ensure the dumplings are cooked through and piping hot before serving. Serve immediately after cooking and take care with the hot juices.
Boil: Bring 1.5 litres of water to a boil. Remove all packaging. Place dumplings in the boiling water, wait until the water returns to a boil and cook for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pan-fry: Preheat a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add a teaspoon of oil (5 ml) when hot. Remove all packaging, and place dumplings in the pan for 5 minutes, turning them continuously. Add enough boiling water to half cover the dumplings. Cover with a lid and simmer for a further 5 minutes. Drain and serve.
Steam: Prepare a steamer, place a plate in the centre and heat the steamer. When there is steam, lightly spread a teaspoon of oil on the plate. Remove all packaging and place dumplings on the plate and steam for 15-20 minutes. Take care that the pot does not boil dry.
Deep-fry: Preheat the oil to 160°C. Remove all packaging. Deep-fry the dumplings for 5-6 minutes, until golden. Drain well before serving.
