Preparation:
For best results cook from frozen. All appliances vary; these are guidelines only. Ensure dumplings are cooked through and piping hot before serving. Serve immediately after cooking and be careful with the hot filling.
Boil: Bring 1.5 litres of water to the boil. Remove all packaging. Place dumplings into the boiling water, wait for the water to return to the boil and cook for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pan-fry: Preheat a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add a teaspoon of oil (5 ml) when hot. Remove all packaging and place dumplings in the pan for 5 minutes, turning them continuously. Add enough boiling water to half-cover the dumplings. Cover with a lid and simmer for a further 5 minutes. Drain and serve.
Steam: Prepare a steamer, place a plate in the centre and heat the steamer. When steam forms, lightly spread a teaspoon of oil on the plate. Remove all packaging and place dumplings on the plate and steam for 15-20 minutes. Take care that the pot does not boil dry.
