Tapioca pearls, also called Boba balls for bubble tea, flavored with Matcha green tea. Quick-cook tapioca pearls from the Chinese brand KLKW are ready in just 3 minutes.
Preparation:
1) Boil 10 cups of water for every 1 cup of tapioca pearls in a large pot. Slowly pour the tapioca pearls in when the water is boiling and stir gently.
2) Wait until the pearls float to the surface and put the lid on the pot. Cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Then turn off the heat and let it sit for another 2-3 minutes.
3) Remove the pearls and place them in cold water for 20 seconds. Move them to a dry bowl and add sugar or honey for extra flavor.
The tapioca pearls should be eaten within 4 hours after preparation.
