Used for bubble tea, drinks, desserts and ice cream. 250g is enough for about 10 servings of bubble tea.
Preparation
1) Boil 10 cups of water for every cup of tapioca pearls in a large pot. Slowly pour the tapioca pearls in when the water is boiling and stir gently.
2) Wait until the pearls float to the surface and put a lid on the pot. Cook over medium heat for 2–3 minutes. Then turn off the heat and let the water simmer for another 2–3 minutes.
3) Remove the pearls and place them in cold water for 20 seconds. Transfer them to a dry bowl and add sugar or honey for extra flavor.
Tapioca pearls should be eaten within 4 hours of preparation.
