Used for bubble tea, drinks, desserts and ice cream. 250 g is enough for approximately 10 servings of bubble tea.
Preparation
1) Boil 10 cups of water for each cup of tapioca pearls in a large pot. Slowly add the tapioca pearls when the water is boiling and stir gently.
2) Wait until the pearls float to the surface and put the lid on the pot. Cook over medium heat for 2–3 minutes. Then turn off the heat and let the water simmer for another 2–3 minutes.
3) Remove the pearls and place them in cold water for 20 seconds. Transfer them to a dry bowl and add sugar, honey or syrup for extra flavor.
The tapioca pearls should be eaten within 4 hours after preparation.
