Looking for a low-calorie alternative to rice? Shirataki in rice form is made from konjac root and contains almost no carbohydrates, sugar or fat — perfect for keto, low-carb diets or weight control.
Shirataki is a Japanese specialty made from the fibrous konjac root (glucomannan), which is known for its ability to provide satiety with very few calories.
This rice-like variant has a neutral taste and a slightly elastic texture, making it ideal in stir-fries, soups, salads or as a base in bowls. It easily absorbs flavors from sauces and spices.
Rinse the shirataki rice in cold water for 1–2 minutes — this quickly removes the mild odor from the package liquid. Then heat in a dry pan for 2–3 minutes, or add directly to the dish.
Healthy, easy and ready in minutes!
