Green tea soba noodles (also called Chasoba) are thin Japanese noodles made from wheat flour with Cha (green tea) powder and buckwheat flour.
In Japan, Chasoba is considered a delicacy and is eaten only on very special occasions.
These organic green tea soba noodles from Hakubaku are packed in lightproof foil packaging to protect the tea's nutritional value, which begins to break down when exposed to oxygen or light, and to preserve the fresh flavor of the green tea.
Preparation: Boil the noodles in rapidly boiling water for 6 minutes (salt or oil is not necessary). Drain the water and rinse the noodles well with cold water.
Tip: When reheating, briefly place the noodles in hot water.
