Vietnamese Fried Spring Rolls, or cha gio, are a popular and tasty appetizer. If you eat out at Vietnamese restaurants, you've probably tried these tasty bites before.
These delicious Vietnamese spring rolls are filled with a flavorful combination of minced pork, vegetables, glass noodles and Asian spices. The rolls are wrapped in translucent rice paper wrappers (bánh tráng), which gives them an extremely crispy texture when fried. They are perfect as an appetizer or snack and are often served with a fresh salad and a classic dipping sauce made with fish sauce (nuoc mam).
Storage: Frozen below -18 °C.
Preparation: Fry the spring rolls in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
Serving: Serve with fresh salad, herbs and a delicious dipping sauce to enhance the flavor.
