Preparation:
For best results cook from frozen. All appliances vary, these are only guidelines. Ensure that dumplings are thoroughly cooked and piping hot before serving. Serve immediately after cooking and take care with hot juices.
Boil: Bring 1.5 litres of water to the boil. Remove all packaging. Place dumplings into the boiling water, wait until the water returns to a boil and cook for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pan-fry: Preheat a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add a teaspoon of oil (5 ml) when hot. Remove all packaging, and place dumplings in the pan for 5 minutes, turning them continuously. Add enough boiling water to half-cover the dumplings. Cover with a lid and simmer for a further 5 minutes. Drain and serve.
Steam: Prepare a steamer, place a plate in the middle and heat the steamer. When there is steam, lightly spread a teaspoon of oil on the plate. Remove all packaging and place dumplings on the plate and steam for 15-20 minutes. Be careful that the pot does not boil dry.
Deep-fry: Preheat oil to 160°C. Remove all packaging. Deep-fry dumplings for 5-6 minutes, until golden. Drain well before serving.
