Soba noodles are thin Japanese buckwheat noodles. These organic soba noodles from Hakubaku are made from organic wheat and buckwheat flour. They are roughly as thick as Italian spaghetti, and are used in various hot and cold dishes.
They are light and fresh and are often enjoyed with sauce on the side when served cold. Soba can be served with various toppings, hot in soup or chilled, and served with dipping sauce, pointed cabbage and wasabi. Soba can also be used in stir-fries and salads.
Preparation:
Boil the noodles in rapidly boiling water for 4 minutes (salt or oil is not necessary). Drain the water and rinse well with cold water. Tip: When reheating, briefly place the noodles in boiling water.
